We’re back.

BAD DOG Mag started years ago. There was no special purpose other than to share good poetry.

Then a lot of things in life happened. A pandemic, personal struggles, and every other little thing that can hit you over the head like a brick. BD shared a few issues and then went bust. It’s been on hiatus ever since.

But we’re back. With the same mission of trying to share good poetry and contribute something back to the poetry community that has given so much to me. I’m a writer too. It’s hard out there.

Things are a little different this time. Submissions will be open on a rolling basis. We’ll feature 3 poets each month rather than quarterly issues. We’ll have this blog for updates and other notes. Finally, we’ll have a podcast where we talk with writers about their work and anything else that might come up.

I have no idea where this will go or what will happen. But I’m glad you’re coming along for the journey.
